Transport staff/clients as directed by the Fleet Manager.
• Ensure safety of all passengers on board
• Load luggage in a logical manner that allows easy retrieval and maximum usage of luggage space.
• Conduct daily checks of the vehicles using the vehicle checklists to ensure that all required equipment is available in the vehicle.
• Deliver mail and other goods to external clients. Ensure that deliveries are signed for as proof of receipt.
• Ensure that vehicles are clean and in good working condition at the beginning of the day.
• Notify the Fleet Manager when the vehicle is due for service (after 5,000kms) and advise the Manager of any other vehicle malfunctions.
• Record starting and ending mileage after every trip
• Ensure that the vehicle always has a medical aid box for passenger safety.
• On a weekly basis, collect completed vehicle log sheets data
• Entering log sheet data, fuel expenses and maintenance expenses in the database.
• Managing project Fuel account.
• Requesting travelling and Lunch Allowances for for partners

Manage a fleet of 3 program vehicles and 4 motorbikes
• Facilitate transport for program staff and visitors including donors to hotels/office/field/airport and transfers.
• Ensure all the program vehicles are clean and well maintained by tracking and following vehicle maintenance schedules.
• Monitor fuel usage for all vehicles and motorbikes and make fuel requests in time to avoid stock outs.
• Fuel analysis and reconciliation with Filling station.
• Ensuring transport policy and other controls are followed by all responsible staff
• Ensure that no unauthorized passengers are carried in World Vision Zambia motor vehicles.
• Ensure logbooks are filled appropriately.
• Timely completion and submission of fuel analysis report and monthly transport plan.
• Preparation and submission of vehicle performance report
• Report all accidents and defects on motor vehicles and motorbikes
• Monitor and ensure that the status of motor vehicles are in good condition.
• Distribution of field equipment and materials to field stations.
• Deliver packages and goods as assigned by various departments.
• Request monthly activity funds such as petty cash, Per diem/sub and transport refunds.
• Ensure that insurance, fitness and road tax for vehicles and motorbikes is updated.
