I am an experienced and enthusiastic programme manager with 11 years of experience in two different sectors—Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) and Family Planning (FP), and the criminal justice system (prisons) sectors managing different huge and complex projects. I am able to develop in-country and international fundraising strategies, design and manage new programmes and develop complex proposals and budgets. I am currently engaged as Programmes Managers at Marie Stopes Zambia (MSZ) since March 2019. My responsibilities include securing new donor funding, monitoring the progress of existing grants and ensure the ultimate success of all donor-funded projects and ensuring organisational capacity to deliver results. I also lead in establishing partnerships with Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), FP advocacy groups, international partners, and the Ministry of Health (MoH).

I also worked for the Prisons Care and Counselling Association (PRISCCA) in the same capacity from 2009 to February 2019. The main focus included promoting human rights and access to justice for vulnerable prisoners juveniles and circumstantial children, improving water supply and hygiene across different correctional facilities, rehabilitation and reintegration of former prisoners. Much as PRISCCA is a small CSO, we implemented complex projects with the support of major funders which included the European Union (EU), Open Society Initiative for Southen Africa (OSISA) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) over a span of ten years. It also gave an opportunity to nature and grow an organisation from two employees I found to 26 by the time I was leaving. I played a critical in setting up governance systems that enable us to get funding from donors for 10 years.
 Project Cycle Management: Results-Based Management (RBM) approach; Problem Tree Analysis; Theories of Change (ToC); Logical Framework Approach (LFA); Budgeting process; and reporting;  Resource Mobilisation: Accessing financial support from foundations/ CSR/ local resources or bodies; social enterprise and income-generating activities;  Monitoring & Evaluation: development and use of appropriate monitoring & reporting tools & systems;  Multi-task Management Roles working in a small organisation exposed me to different roles in management including acting as executive Director on several occasions;  Commitment: contributed to the growth of the organisation from two to 24 employees with four contracted law firms with project activities covering the nine provinces.  Teamwork: successfully leads teams and develops others' team-working skills.  Communication and influencing: ability to develop advocacy plans and ideas; maintaining a wide, influential network and coaching
